With proper diet and a healthy liver, cholesterol is not a problem and also, cholesterol drugs are hard on the liver over time. I never took cholesterol drugs but was told on one doctor visit that my cholesterol was getting into the higher range where it needed attention. Improving liver function eliminated the problem and took my cholesterol way down.
That was another important step in my journey back to better health and energy naturally.
There are also good natural remedies to deal with cholesterol, which is better for your health than drugs, but wouldn't it be even better to address the cause instead of the symptom?
Dealing with a cholesterol problem can also help with a high blood pressure problem, since the two are closely related.
As liver function slowly declines, new health problems can appear and existing conditions can become worse, leading to premature aging.Slow liver function can also cause sensitivity to certain foods, which I experienced because the liver is an integral part of proper digestion.

That is the hardest part for many people - accepting and trying new ideas. When you are raised adopting many ideas and habits, they can be very hard to break later on. That is the biggest obstacle to many people changing their lives and their health, for changing your health can definitely change your life.
Another thing I have seen is that people just don't care enough to make the changes. Even when they begin to realize that their habits may be a problem, their attitude is that they are going to live the way they enjoy living and to hell with the consequences.
There is no dealing with this attitude on a rational level, so they just have to be left alone to go their own way. The negative aspect of this is that these kinds of people are one reason our health care system is a major government expense - through taxes of course.
And taxes are something we all pay! But if most people lived in a super healthy way, a major tax burden would be lifted for many people.
You don't have to accept everything I say as the truth. Do your own research and experimentation. When you see positive results, you will know you are on the right track.
Also remember this. Better health means slowing the aging process. I was involved in martial arts until COVID came along. A little while after that I moved out of the city to a small town where there are no martial arts schools. The last while in the martial arts, I was doing it 3-4 times per week.
But, I am still physically active doing things that most people my age wouldn't think of doing. I just spent a little over a year renovating (almost finished) an old house by myself and creating a workshop in the backyard. Well over 70 years old and still doing what I want to do and the things I enjoy doing.
TV is OK in the evening, but I have other interests to keep busy during the day and there are people younger than me in the senior's residence just a block away from me.
After all my years of experimentation I have probably spent more on personal research than most people will ever think about.
